1936: Company founded by Alfons Mondt in Hirschberg/Silesia
1946: Relocated to Bad Arolsen
1946: Production of plastic articles for bakeries and confectioners
1963: Company acquired by Erwin Busch, start of production of disposable syringes
1968: Completed the new building in Bad Arolsen
1979: B. Braun Melsungen AG acquires shares of ALMO
1983: Certified clean room production
1984: Henke-Sass-Wolf GmbH acquires shares in ALMO
1991: Discontinuation of production of plastic products for bakeries and confectioners
1993: Reaching DIN EN ISO 9001 - certification the first time
1997: Implementation of new manufacturing technologies for die-casting, print- and assembly lines, linking of print- and assembly lines
1997: New product-design and therewith 20 % saving of granules
2001: Optimization of packaging density improved by 25 %
2002: Automatization of finalpackaging and palletizing
2002/2003: Prodcution start for syringes with integrated needle (Omnican ®)
2006: Upgrade of die-casting area and implementation of a new, modern ventilation system for the production
2008: Adding syringes with detachable needle to product portfolio
2009: Annual production of 2 billion syringes is reached
2010: Enlargement of production-area for realization addition to capacity
2011: Introduction of a new, modern sterilization chamber and 75th anniversary
2013: Adding enteral syringes to product-portfolio
2014: Automation of material flow
